Waiter / Waitress – Full‑time Hospitality Role

About the role

Join Teestone Hotel and Apartment as a Waiter/Waitress and become the front‑line ambassador for guests in the Marina area of Lagos. You will deliver friendly, efficient service in a dynamic hotel restaurant environment, ensuring every dining experience meets high hospitality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly, manage seating arrangements and present menus.
• Take accurate food and drink orders and relay them promptly to the kitchen.
• Serve meals and beverages professionally, checking on guests throughout their visit.
• Process bills and handle payments with precision.
• Set up and clear tables, maintain cleanliness of the dining area and service stations.
• Follow food safety, hygiene and hotel service standards at all times.
• Assist with banquet, conference and special event services as needed.
• Collaborate with kitchen and restaurant staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Report guest complaints, incidents or maintenance issues to the supervisor.

Required profile

• Minimum SSCE or equivalent qualification.
• Previous experience in a hotel, restaurant or hospitality setting is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and professional appearance.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Capability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
