Inventory Manager

About the role

Toasties Limited is seeking an experienced Inventory Manager to oversee the receipt, storage, and movement of inventory for its hospitality operations in Lagos. The role ensures accurate inventory records, timely replenishment, and compliance with food safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the receipt, storage, issuance, and movement of all inventory.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records.
• Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment based on approved reorder levels.
• Conduct regular physical stock counts and investigate variances.
• Monitor food wastage, spoilage, expiry, and damaged items and ensure proper documentation.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of food, beverages, packaging, and other supplies.
• Verify quantities and quality of items received against purchase orders and invoices.
• Monitor stock usage against sales and production to identify unusual variances.
• Prepare regular inventory reports and provide recommendations to reduce losses and improve cost efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with inventory, food safety, and storage procedures.

Required profile

• A minimum of 4 years of experience.
• A minimum of a degree in a related field.
