About the role
The SME Business division at Standard Chartered serves businesses with annual turnovers up to USD 100 million. We are seeking a Trade & Deposit Relationship Manager to develop and manage relationships with mid‑sized and emerging corporates, delivering tailored financial solutions while managing risk and compliance.
Key responsibilities
- Achieve individual financial and non‑financial targets by acquiring, growing, and retaining profitable medium‑enterprise customers within risk parameters.
- Contribute to the team’s overall targets and optimise portfolio returns.
- Collaborate with Relationship Managers, Credit Analysts, Risk, Compliance, Client Due Diligence, and product partners to deliver comprehensive solutions.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 years of experience serving business, commercial, and corporate clients, including cross‑border businesses.
- Proven track record in client relationship management and business development.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial modelling, and financial statement analysis.
- Ability to assess creditworthiness and propose risk mitigations.
