Filling Station Cashier

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Filling Station Cashier to join our team at PC Recruit Nigeria. You will be responsible for handling all cash and electronic transactions at the station while providing excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and process customer payments accurately using cash, POS and other approved methods.
• Issue receipts and maintain proper transaction records.
• Reconcile cash and sales records at the end of each shift.
• Maintain accurate daily transaction logs and keep the cashier area clean and organized.
• Report any discrepancies or suspicious transactions to the supervisor.
• Collaborate with pump attendants and station management.
• Follow all company cash‑handling and operational procedures.
• Perform other duties assigned by management.

Required profile

• Minimum HND/BSc qualification; additional certifications are a plus.
• Previous experience as a cashier, especially in a filling station or retail environment.
• Strong numerical ability, attention to detail and honesty.
• Good communication and customer‑service skills.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Ability to work under pressure in a busy environment.
• Willing to work in Asaba, Owerri or Onitsha.
