Technical Sales Representative – Remote (Up to $85/hr)

About the role

Crossing Hurdles is seeking a results‑driven Technical Sales Representative to work remotely on a contract basis. You will be responsible for generating and qualifying B2B leads for technical and scientific material solutions, translating complex product features into clear business benefits.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and prospect B2B leads using advanced research and outreach techniques.
• Qualify prospects by assessing needs, budget, authority, and interest.
• Communicate technical value propositions to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Develop and deliver customized presentations that link product features to business outcomes.
• Handle objections and negotiate within a consultative sales framework.
• Document interactions, feedback, and insights for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to refine messaging.

Required profile

• Proven success in B2B sales within the technical or scientific materials sector.
• Strong understanding of technical products and their cross‑industry applications.
• Ability to convey technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
• Experience with objection handling and consultative negotiation.

Required skills

• Familiarity with CRM platforms.
• Experience using digital prospecting tools.
