SME Business Credit & Loan Officer – Secured Loans

About the role

CredPal is seeking a commercially‑focused SME Business Credit & Loan Officer to originate, evaluate and disburse secured loans for small‑ and medium‑size enterprises. You will build a pipeline of qualified borrowers, manage loan documentation and ensure disciplined repayment behavior.

Key responsibilities

• Source and originate secured SME loan opportunities, including working‑capital, merchant financing and asset‑backed facilities.
• Achieve monthly disbursement targets for secured loan products.
• Maintain an active loan pipeline from lead generation through approval and disbursement.
• Evaluate borrower financials, collateral and repayment capacity, and ensure proper documentation.
• Build and nurture relationships with SME clients to encourage repeat borrowing.
• Monitor repayment behavior, track delinquency trends and support collections when needed.
• Identify high‑potential SME clusters and stay informed on financing trends.

Required profile

• Mid‑senior level experience in SME credit, loan origination or commercial banking.
• Strong network within SME and merchant communities.
• Proven ability to generate loan volume while maintaining portfolio quality.
• Excellent analytical and credit assessment capabilities.
• Effective communication and relationship‑building skills.
