Salesperson – Full‑time Sales Role in Lagos

About the role

Career Doctor is looking for a motivated Salesperson to join its team in Lagos. This full‑time, on‑site position focuses on generating new business, presenting solutions, and guiding prospects through the entire sales cycle.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and engage prospective clients through calls, emails, and face‑to‑face meetings.
• Present the company’s offerings and tailor proposals to client needs.
• Manage the complete sales process from initial contact to closing.
• Maintain accurate records in the sales pipeline and follow up with leads.
• Collaborate with training and marketing teams to align offers with market demand.
• Achieve monthly sales targets and prepare basic sales performance reports.
• Provide feedback on market trends and client preferences.

Required profile

• Strong sales, negotiation and persuasion abilities with a proven track record of meeting targets.
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Basic experience with customer relationship management tools and lead tracking.
• Organized, able to manage multiple prospects and follow‑ups efficiently.
• Comfortable using digital tools such as email, spreadsheets and CRM platforms.
• Prior experience in sales, business development or client‑facing roles, preferably in training, consulting or professional services.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Marketing, Communications or a related field.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Lagos and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
