Account Manager (Taste)

About the role

IFF is seeking a talented Account Manager for its Taste division, based in Lagos, Nigeria. You will drive sustainable business growth across West Africa, building strategic partnerships and delivering profitable flavor solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver annual sales, profitability and volume targets for assigned accounts and territories.
• Develop and execute strategic account plans aligned with regional objectives.
• Identify new business opportunities, expand existing partnerships and maintain a healthy pipeline in Salesforce.
• Lead commercial negotiations, support pricing optimisation and manage customer profitability.
• Partner with technical, R&D, product development and regulatory teams to deliver winning solutions.
• Support forecasting, demand planning and business review activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Food Science, Chemistry, Biotechnology or related field.
• 5‑8 years of B2B sales and account management experience in food ingredients, flavors, fragrances or related industries.
• Proven success managing strategic accounts and complex sales cycles across multiple West African markets.
• Strong commercial, negotiation and stakeholder‑management skills with a customer‑focused mindset.
• Willingness to travel 40‑60% across the region.

Required skills

• Advanced use of Salesforce (SFDC) for pipeline and account management.
