Reservation Manager – Pre-opening

About the role

Hyatt Regency Lagos Ikeja is seeking a Reservation Manager to join its pre‑opening team. You will lead the Reservations department, ensuring seamless booking experiences for guests while supporting revenue goals for the new luxury property.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily reservations operations, guaranteeing accuracy and compliance with Hyatt standards.
• Supervise reservation agents, handling VIP, long‑stay and special bookings.
• Manage room inventory, allocation, and overbooking limits.
• Partner with the Revenue Manager to optimize occupancy, ADR and RevPAR.
• Monitor and maintain rate integrity across all distribution channels.
• Ensure accurate data flow through OPERA PMS, CRS, GDS and OTA platforms.
• Coordinate with Sales, Front Office and Revenue teams on group blocks and rooming lists.
• Recruit, train, coach and evaluate reservations staff.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience leading a reservations team in a hotel setting.
• Strong understanding of hotel revenue management principles.
• Excellent problem‑solving and guest‑service orientation.
• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple hotel departments.
