Regional HUB & Country Director, West‑Central Africa

About the role

PATH is seeking a senior leader to head its West‑Central Africa Regional HUB and the Nigeria Country Office. The Director will guide a multi‑country portfolio covering Nigeria, Democratic Republic of Congo, Ghana, Senegal and emerging registrations in Burkina Faso, Burundi and the Central African Republic, driving health‑innovation programmes across malaria, HIV/TB, epidemic preparedness, vaccines, digital health, data and AI.

Key responsibilities

• Provide overall strategic and operational leadership for the regional hub and country office.
• Oversee program design, implementation and quality assurance across all health platforms.
• Develop and diversify the business development pipeline to ensure a sustainable portfolio.
• Build and nurture partnerships with governments, NGOs, private sector and donor agencies at regional, national and international levels.
• Lead knowledge‑management and shared‑learning initiatives to scale impact.
• Represent PATH publicly and elevate its profile as a leading global‑health NGO.

Required profile

• Proven track record in senior program leadership, team building and business development within the health sector.
• Experience managing multi‑country operations and complex stakeholder networks.
• Strong understanding of global‑health challenges, especially in malaria, HIV/TB, vaccines and digital health.
• Demonstrated ability to secure funding and drive sustainable program portfolios.
