About the role
Cormart Nigeria Limited is seeking a results‑driven Sales Manager to lead B2B sales of pharmaceutical raw materials, including active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), excipients and chemical intermediates. The role focuses on expanding the customer base among pharmaceutical manufacturers and contract development and manufacturing organisations (CDMOs) in Nigeria.
Key responsibilities
- Identify, prospect and develop new B2B accounts within the pharmaceutical manufacturing sector.
- Sell pharmaceutical‑grade raw materials such as APIs, excipients, intermediates and formulation products to manufacturers and CDMOs.
- Manage and grow an existing portfolio of industry clients, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
- Develop and execute territory sales plans aligned with revenue targets.
- Conduct product presentations and technical discussions with procurement, R&D and quality assurance teams.
- Negotiate pricing, supply agreements and contracts while maintaining profit margins.
- Collaborate with supply‑chain, regulatory and technical teams to meet client specifications.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer feedback to provide strategic insights.
- Maintain accurate sales records, pipeline and forecasts using CRM tools.
- Represent the company at industry trade shows and networking events.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering or a related life‑sciences field.
- 4–6 years of proven B2B sales experience in the pharmaceutical or chemical sectors.
Required skills
- B2B sales expertise.
- In‑depth knowledge of pharmaceutical raw materials and supply‑chain processes.
- Strong negotiation and contract management abilities.
- Effective product presentation and technical communication.
- Proficiency with CRM tools for pipeline and forecast management.
