About the role
The Maintenance Officer will join Emglo Suites in Lagos to ensure the smooth operation of the hotel’s facilities. You will be responsible for routine upkeep, quick repairs, and supporting external contractors to maintain a safe and comfortable environment for guests and staff.
Key responsibilities
- Daily Repairs – fix broken fixtures, doors, lighting, and address basic plumbing or electrical issues.
- Routine Inspections – conduct regular checks of buildings and equipment to identify early‑stage problems.
- Preventive Care – service equipment on a scheduled basis to avoid unexpected breakdowns.
- Vendor Support – assist external contractors during major repair projects.
- Safety Checks – keep work areas clean and enforce safety regulations.
Required profile
- Minimum qualification of SSCE.
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar maintenance role.
Required skills
- Basic plumbing.
- Basic electrical troubleshooting.
- Repair of fixtures, doors and lighting.
- Equipment servicing and preventive maintenance.
