Lead, Financial Advisory

About the role

The Lead, Financial Advisory will head the financial advisory business of an integrated financial services group in Abuja. Reporting to senior management, the role provides strategic advice to clients on high‑profile corporate finance, infrastructure and development projects, overseeing the full transaction lifecycle from origination to execution.

Key responsibilities

• Originate, structure and execute large, complex financial transactions including M&A, capital raising, project finance and corporate restructuring.
• Lead negotiations, provide strategic advice on pricing, risk‑sharing and deal structuring.
• Oversee drafting and review of term sheets, letters of intent, shareholder agreements and other transaction documents.
• Conduct in‑depth market research, sectoral analysis and policy reviews to guide client investment decisions.
• Supervise feasibility studies, technical, economic and financial assessments for infrastructure, energy, real‑estate and development projects.
• Prepare and present complex financial and strategic analyses to clients, boards and investors.
• Develop advanced financial models and ensure accuracy of valuation analyses (DCF, comparables, precedent transactions, NAV, LBO).
• Identify and originate new business opportunities, building long‑term relationships with corporates, investors, DFIs and government agencies.
