Inventory Support Officer – POS Terminals

About the role

Moniepoint Inc is looking for an Inventory Support Officer to manage the flow of POS terminals through its Repair Centre. The role ensures full traceability from receipt of faulty devices to dispatch of QA‑cleared units, supporting the company’s fintech operations across Nigeria.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and verify faulty or returned POS terminals against recall waybills at the serial‑number level.
• Log all devices in the Inventory Management System (IMS) within 24 hours and flag any damaged or missing‑serial units.
• Assign terminals to technicians, update IMS status through each repair stage, and enforce the 24‑72 hour SLA for assignment and dispatch.
• Process QA‑approved devices, update status to “QA Cleared – Awaiting Dispatch,” and manage devices that fail QA or are beyond economic repair.
• Generate dispatch lists and waybills, scan devices during loading, and confirm receipt with destination state offices.
• Conduct daily physical counts, reconcile with IMS records, and report variances promptly.
• Participate in periodic wall‑to‑wall inventory counts and maintain organized, labelled storage zones.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict custody controls.
• Experience in inventory handling or logistics, preferably in a repair or technology environment.
• Ability to work under defined service‑level agreements and meet tight timelines.
• Good communication skills for reporting discrepancies and coordinating with technicians and state offices.
