Injection Molding Technician – Full-time

About the role

Viju Industries Nigeria Limited is seeking an Injection Molding Technician to join its production team in Kwali, Abuja. The role involves operating and maintaining large injection molding machines that produce plastic components for the company’s beverage and water product lines.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, run and monitor injection molding cycles for PE, PET and PP materials.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical or hydraulic issues on large molding machines.
• Ensure product quality by checking dimensions, appearance and compliance with specifications.
• Maintain accurate production records and report downtime or defects to supervisors.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to optimise process parameters.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng) degree.
• 3 to 10 years of hands‑on experience with injection molding equipment.
• Familiarity with processing PE, PET and PP plastics.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Required skills

• Injection molding process operation.
• Maintenance of large injection molding machines.
• Handling of PE, PET and PP materials.
