HR Officer

About the role

We are looking for a proactive and detail‑oriented HR Officer to support our HR team and ensure smooth day‑to‑day operations. The role involves handling recruitment, onboarding, employee documentation, and assisting with payroll preparation.

Key responsibilities

• Provide administrative support across core HR functions such as recruitment, onboarding, and employee documentation.
• Post job vacancies, screen CVs, schedule interviews, and coordinate recruitment activities.
• Maintain accurate physical and electronic employee records.
• Assist payroll preparation by gathering attendance and relevant HR data.
• Support onboarding and orientation of new hires.
• Help implement HR policies, procedures, and employee welfare initiatives.
• Respond to employee inquiries and appropriately escalate issues.
• Prepare HR reports and documentation as required while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with labour regulations.
• Perform other HR or administrative duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 2–3 years of experience in HR or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of HR processes, policies, and Nigerian labour laws.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
• High attention to detail, confidentiality, and ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
