Talent Management Specialist – HR Leadership Role

About the role

The Talent Management Specialist will design, implement, and evaluate talent initiatives that attract, retain, develop, and engage a high‑performing workforce at Dangote Industries Limited. You will partner with line managers and the Group L&D team to align workforce planning with succession needs and drive employee engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Support the design and execution of the talent management framework and align workforce requirements with succession planning.
• Conduct training needs assessments, collaborate on technical and leadership development programs, and evaluate training effectiveness using Kirkpatrick’s Model.
• Maintain a company‑wide competency framework, skills inventory, and updated succession plans for critical roles.
• Identify high‑potential employees, facilitate Individual Development Plans, and coordinate targeted growth programs.
• Design and execute employee engagement surveys, stay interviews, and exit interview analysis to inform retention strategies.
• Contribute to recruitment strategy, including job posting optimization and talent planning.
• Provide monthly talent metrics dashboards and use workforce analytics to predict talent risks and advise management.

Required profile

• B.Sc, B.A or M.Sc in Human Resources, Social Sciences or equivalent.
• 3‑5 years of experience in talent management, learning & development, or organizational development.
• Professional HR certification (e.g., CIPD, SHRM) is preferred.
• Ability to link talent initiatives to organizational objectives and deliver workshops.
• Strong presentation, interpersonal, and analytical skills with high attention to detail.
• Capacity to manage multiple programs independently while maintaining confidentiality.
