Head of Sales – Automotive & Aviation

About the role

The Head of Sales will lead the sales function for PSN, driving growth across the automotive and aviation sectors. Reporting to senior management, this role combines strategic planning, team leadership, and client relationship management to achieve revenue targets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies, set targets, and identify new business opportunities.
• Analyse market data, customer needs, and competitor activity to produce accurate forecasts.
• Manage the sales pipeline, track leads and opportunities, and ensure timely closure of deals.
• Prepare proposals and negotiate sales of agricultural equipment and generator solutions.
• Document market interactions and report performance metrics to senior management.
• Lead, coach, and evaluate the sales team, assigning territories and setting individual goals.
• Partner with HR to recruit, train, and develop new sales personnel.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, distributors, and partners.
• Organise demos, exhibitions, and conferences to enhance customer engagement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or related field.
• At least ten years of relevant sales experience, preferably in automotive, aviation, or related equipment sectors.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and leading high‑performing teams.
• Strong analytical abilities to interpret market trends and forecast demand.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
