Head of Human Resources and Enumeration

About the role

The Head of Human Resources and Enumeration will lead all HR functions while overseeing staff enumeration and workforce census activities for a real‑estate firm in Lagos. This senior position reports directly to the Managing Director and works closely with the Board of Directors.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Manage recruitment, onboarding, performance management, training, employee relations and compliance with Nigerian labour laws.
• Lead workforce planning, succession planning and talent management initiatives.
• Plan and conduct staff enumeration, maintain accurate employee records and produce workforce analytics.
• Perform periodic workforce audits to identify gaps, redundancies and productivity issues.
• Prepare and present HR and workforce reports to the Board and Executive Management.
• Provide strategic HR advice to senior leadership and support Board governance on human capital matters.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, Management, Psychology or related field.
• Professional HR certification (CIPM, SHRM, HRCI or equivalent).
• Minimum 3 years of progressive HR management experience, preferably in a senior leadership role.
• Proven experience in employee enumeration, workforce auditing, manpower planning and HR data management.
• Experience interacting with a Board of Directors or serving in a Board‑related HR capacity.
