About the role
The Group Business/Commercial Lead will drive revenue growth, strategic partnerships and cross‑unit commercial opportunities across BertAndre Group’s portfolio, which includes energy, technology, consulting, real estate and smart mobility. Reporting to the Executive Director and Founder, the role focuses on enterprise sales, partnership development and market positioning within emerging industries.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and manage the Group’s commercial pipeline across all portfolio companies.
- Identify and pursue enterprise, institutional, government and strategic partnership opportunities.
- Lead proposal development, commercial negotiations and partnership discussions.
- Build relationships with key stakeholders in energy, real estate, technology, infrastructure and finance sectors.
- Coordinate with unit leads to align commercial opportunities with operational capabilities.
- Drive revenue generation and meet partnership conversion targets.
- Support market expansion initiatives and ecosystem positioning.
- Maintain CRM discipline, pipeline reporting and commercial forecasting.
- Represent the Group at industry events, investor meetings and strategic engagements.
- Collaborate with senior leadership on high‑value strategic deals.
Required profile
- Minimum 8 years of experience in business development, enterprise sales, partnerships or commercial strategy.
- Background in B2B, infrastructure, energy, technology, consulting or related sectors.
- Proven ability to close and manage complex commercial opportunities.
- Strong professional network within Nigeria’s business ecosystem (advantageous).
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Engineering or a related field.
