General Manager – Hotel Operations

About the role

We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead our hotel in Lagos Marina. You will provide strategic direction, oversee daily operations, and drive revenue growth while ensuring exceptional guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement business strategies to increase occupancy, revenue, and profitability.
• Lead and mentor departmental managers and staff, fostering a high‑performance culture.
• Monitor budgets, financial performance, and operational costs, ensuring fiscal targets are met.
• Establish partnerships and business development initiatives to enhance market presence.
• Maintain operational policies, procedures, and compliance standards.
• Analyze market trends and adjust strategies to stay competitive.
• Address guest concerns and resolve operational issues promptly.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years proven experience as a Hotel General Manager.
• Extensive background in hotel operations within the hospitality industry.
• Strong business development and revenue‑generation track record.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
• Solid financial management, budgeting, and reporting skills.
• Minimum HND in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field.
