Executive Assistant

About the role

The Executive Assistant will provide high‑level administrative and executive support to the Group Managing Director (GMD) of AJ Skylar Ltd. This role combines calendar management, travel coordination, content creation and stakeholder communication in a fast‑moving retail, fashion and FMCG environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the GMD’s schedule, arrange meetings, appointments and travel itineraries, and send real‑time reminders.
• Attend all GMD events, meetings and engagements, including weekends or after‑hours when required.
• Prepare agendas, take minutes, and follow up on action items.
• Create and draft social media captions, event recaps and other brand‑focused content; assist with photography and behind‑the‑scenes coverage.
• Research trends and support personal‑branding initiatives.
• Coordinate flights, hotels, visas and itineraries for the GMD and team; liaise with vendors and organizers for business events.
• Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, maintain confidentiality and act with professionalism.
• Maintain digital and physical files, expense logs and track project deliverables.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

• Experience with Canva for basic design.
• Familiarity with major social media platforms for content creation.
