Electrical Design Engineer – LV & ELV Systems

About the role

BashleeNG is seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to lead the design of low voltage (LV) and extra‑low voltage (ELV) systems for construction projects in Lagos. You will be responsible for delivering compliant, efficient designs that integrate CCTV, access control, fire alarm, data and building management systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design LV and ELV systems in line with project specifications and international standards (IEC, NFPA).
• Develop detailed electrical designs for CCTV, access control, fire alarm, data and BMS systems.
• Perform cable sizing, voltage drop calculations and ensure proper system integration.
• Coordinate electrical layouts with architectural and structural drawings to maintain alignment.
• Prepare, review and validate electrical drawings, calculations and technical documentation.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in LV and ELV system design.
• Strong knowledge of IEC, NFPA and other relevant electrical standards.
• Proven experience designing CCTV, access control, fire alarm, data and BMS systems.
• Excellent coordination, communication and technical documentation skills.
