Project Engineer

About the role

Ardrend Limited is seeking a Project Engineer to lead technical proposals, site inspections and ensure project delivery in Port Harcourt, Nigeria. The role involves coordinating design, compliance and stakeholder communication for construction projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare technical proposals for project bids and tenders.
• Carry out project site inspections and feasibility studies, write reports and give recommendations.
• Conduct pre‑project site surveys to develop design and address anticipated challenges.
• Review inspection and test plans, method statements and safety policies with the QA/QC Manager.
• Prepare project schedule, personnel, equipment and procurement plans in line with contract scope.
• Perform engineering calculations and develop design concepts using CAD.
• Create CAD drawings of site layout and equipment positioning.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards and specifications.
• Coordinate site personnel, monitor progress and submit project reports.
• Carry out parameter checks such as gas testing and non‑destructive testing before operations.

Required profile

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
• Degree in a related engineering field.
