About the role
The Director of Administration will act as Secretary to the Management Board and report directly to the Chief Medical Director. This senior leader will provide strategic administrative leadership to advance the hospital’s vision of becoming a 21st‑century world‑class institution.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure the effective functioning of all administrative divisions in the day‑to‑day management of the teaching hospital.
- Serve as Secretary to the Management Board, coordinating board activities and documentation.
Required profile
- Honours degree in Social Sciences, Humanities or Education (with a Master’s in Public Administration or an MSc in Public Administration as specified).
- Minimum 25 years of relevant administrative experience in a teaching hospital or comparable institution, including at least 5 years at Deputy Director level.
- Membership of the Institute of Health Service Administrators of Nigeria and completion or exemption from NYSC.
