Business Performance Leader

About the role

The Business Performance Leader will support the CEO in driving company‑wide transformation, strategic initiatives, and operational excellence at FoodCo Nigeria Limited, a leading consumer‑goods retailer based in Ibadan.

Key responsibilities

• Support and help drive company‑wide transformation and strategic initiatives while building and maintaining key relationships across the organization.
• Assist in overseeing strategic business initiatives from development through successful execution under the guidance of executive management.
• Design and implement cross‑functional systems and processes needed for scalable growth.
• Maintain rhythm of key operating mechanisms to assist the CEO in driving business operations and strategy projects.
• Work with senior and mid‑level leadership to ensure effective and timely execution of key business reviews.
• Collaborate with leadership to track, analyze and report organizational performance periodically.
• Plan and organise the CEO’s weekly and monthly administrative duties; manage calendar and prepare correspondences for meetings.
• Assist the CEO with external commitments and engagements with various stakeholders.
• Ensure the CEO has necessary information and send agendas to meeting attendees.
• Monitor information flow and act as gatekeeper for CEO involvement in projects or decisions.
• Manage meeting cadence for the board of directors and leadership team, ensuring materials are sent in advance.
• Plan and lead company retreats and other special events.

Required profile

• Minimum 5‑7 years experience at a top‑tier management consulting firm.
• Master’s in Business Administration (preferred).
