Deputy Regional Director – Sales & Marketing

About the role

We are looking for a highly motivated Deputy Regional Director to lead sales and distribution activities for our business unit in Lagos. Reporting to the Regional Director, you will help shape and execute strategies that drive revenue growth across the designated region.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Regional Director in developing and implementing sales strategies to meet revenue targets.
• Lead, coach, and monitor the performance of the regional sales team.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities to expand market penetration.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and distributors.
• Analyse market trends and competitor activities to spot opportunities and threats.
• Provide regular sales performance reports to the Regional Director.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Operations and other functions to ensure coordinated execution of sales initiatives.
• Stay updated on industry developments and recommend continuous improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales or a related field.
• Minimum 18 months of experience in sales and distribution, with a proven record of achieving targets.
• Strong leadership and team‑management capabilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
