CNC Machine Operator

About the role

Buckler Systems is seeking a detail‑oriented CNC Machine Operator to join its manufacturing team in Epe, Lagos. You will operate CNC lathe and milling machines to produce high‑precision parts for civilian armored vehicles and military equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and adjust CNC lathe and/or milling machines according to job orders.
• Load CNC programs, configure tools, and set machine parameters.
• Monitor machining cycles to guarantee dimensional accuracy and product quality.
• Inspect finished components using precision measuring instruments.
• Identify and report defects, tool wear, and equipment issues.
• Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting on machines.
• Maintain accurate production and inspection records.
• Collaborate with production and quality teams to meet targets and reduce downtime.

Required profile

• B.Eng. or B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years experience as a CNC Machine Operator in manufacturing or automotive environments.
• Strong understanding of HSE policies and proper PPE usage.
