Civil Engineer

About the role

Homik Engineering Limited is seeking a Civil Engineer to lead the design and analysis of civil and structural deliverables for energy and utilities projects. The role covers both offshore and on‑shore facilities, from concept through detailed design, ensuring safety, constructability and cost‑effectiveness.

Key responsibilities

• Lead engineering design and analysis during Conceptual, FEED and Detailed Design phases for offshore platforms, wellhead structures, jackets, topsides and on‑shore process facilities.
• Perform structural calculations for dead, live, wind, seismic, wave, current, blast and operational loads, and design foundations (shallow, piled, special).
• Develop design criteria, basis of design documents, technical specifications and produce General Arrangement drawings, steel details, material take‑offs and scope of work.
• Coordinate with Process, Mechanical, Piping, Electrical, Instrumentation and HSE disciplines and ensure compliance with international codes and project quality standards.
• Review geotechnical reports, establish foundation requirements and conduct fitness‑for‑service assessments.
• Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers, lead design reviews and interface with clients, contractors and regulatory bodies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Approximately 8 years of relevant experience in structural design and analysis.

• Load calculation for dead, live, wind, seismic, wave, current, blast and operational conditions.
