Chief Operations Officer – Engineering & Facility Services

About the role

International Facilities Services (IFS) is entering a rapid growth phase and seeks a Chief Operations Officer to lead its Engineering Services and Facility Management portfolio. This hands‑on senior role will translate strategy into execution, bring structure to complex operations, and serve as the trusted operational backbone for clients and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee end‑to‑end operations across soft and hard facility management and engineering service lines.
• Lead service delivery, ensuring high customer satisfaction and operational performance.
• Drive projects from planning through delivery, meeting quality standards, timelines, and budgets.
• Align operations, customer service, and sales support functions with corporate strategy.
• Translate strategic goals into clear operational plans and measurable KPIs.
• Strengthen client relationships and support business development and account growth.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in technical operations, facility management, engineering services, or project management.
• Proven track record coordinating multi‑site operations or service portfolios.
• Strong stakeholder management and customer‑facing experience.
• Hands‑on technical background with Power, Electrical and/or HVAC systems (preferably COREN registered).
• Highly organized, decisive, and execution‑focused with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
