Channel Manager – Wholesale (Nigeria)

About the role

Monster Energy is seeking a Channel Manager – Wholesale to lead its national wholesale strategy across Nigeria. In this high‑impact commercial role you will own the wholesale channel, build partnerships with major wholesalers and stockists, and drive the next phase of the brand’s expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute Monster Energy’s national wholesale strategy across Nigeria.
• Build long‑term relationships with major wholesalers, stockists and the bottling partner.
• Identify new wholesale opportunities to increase distribution and market coverage.
• Develop customer business plans, loyalty programmes and commercial growth initiatives.
• Drive product availability, visibility, pricing compliance and execution across wholesale partners.
• Analyse sales, distribution and market performance data to identify commercial opportunities.
• Partner with Trade Marketing to deliver wholesale activations and new product launches.
• Support the bottling partner in driving commercial performance across wholesale customers.
• Provide market insight and strategic recommendations to improve route‑to‑market performance.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver sustainable nationwide growth.

Required profile

• 8+ years of commercial experience within FMCG, beverages or consumer goods.
• Strong experience managing wholesalers, stockists or national wholesale customers.
• Proven route‑to‑market and channel development experience.
• Experience developing commercial plans and customer growth strategies.
• Strong commercial acumen with ability to analyse sales and performance data.
• Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel nationally and work across multiple regions in Nigeria.
