About the role
Candy Co, Nigeria’s leading retailer and wholesaler of American confectionery, is seeking a self‑motivated Business Development Manager to expand its wholesale client base across Lagos and beyond. This is a pure new‑business role focused on opening accounts in cinemas, hotels, supermarkets and corporate channels while nurturing existing partnerships.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and acquire new wholesale accounts in target sectors such as cinema, hospitality, retail and corporate.
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing partners, including Silverbird and Filmhouse Cinemas.
- Negotiate terms, close deals and achieve revenue targets.
- Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts using Excel or Google Sheets.
- Collaborate with the Director to shape the company’s growth strategy.
Required profile
- Minimum 3 years of experience in B2B sales, business development or key account management.
- Proven track record of opening new accounts and generating revenue.
- Experience in FMCG, food & beverage, confectionery or a related industry is preferred.
- Existing network in cinema, hospitality, supermarket or corporate sectors.
- Lagos‑based with an active professional network.
