Auto Maintenance Personnel

About the role

We are seeking an Auto Maintenance Personnel to keep the hotel’s fleet of vehicles safe, reliable and road‑ready. The role involves routine inspections, repairs and preventive maintenance for all company vehicles, supporting smooth operations of the Teestone Hotel and Apartment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of hotel vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults, including engines, transmission, suspension and steering systems.
• Perform oil changes, brake, battery and tyre checks, and replace worn or damaged parts.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and ensure vehicles are road‑worthy before use.
• Respond promptly to breakdowns and coordinate with external workshops or spare‑parts suppliers when specialised repairs are needed.
• Keep the workshop, tools and equipment clean, organized and in good condition.
• Ensure all work complies with safety procedures and company standards.

Required profile

• SSCE/WAEC/NECO or equivalent qualification; technical or automotive training is a plus.
• At least two years of hands‑on experience in automobile maintenance or mechanical repairs.
• Good knowledge of vehicle engines, electrical systems and mechanical components.
• Physically fit and able to perform manual maintenance tasks.
• A valid driver’s licence is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency with basic automotive tools.
• Ability to use diagnostic equipment for vehicle troubleshooting.
