Architect – Hybrid (Twice a week) – Akure

About the role

We are looking for a creative Architect to join our client’s team in Akure. The role involves delivering functional, modern, and cost‑effective property solutions while collaborating closely with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare architectural designs, drawings, concepts and presentation materials for a variety of building projects.
• Develop detailed working drawings and specifications using AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Lumion or ArchiCAD.
• Conduct site inspections and supervise construction activities to ensure compliance with approved designs and standards.
• Ensure projects meet local building regulations, planning approvals and safety requirements.
• Assist with space planning, renovations, remodeling and maintenance improvement projects for managed properties.
• Review contractor work and provide technical guidance as needed.
• Participate in client meetings and offer professional recommendations on design and construction matters.
• Promote efficient material utilization and cost‑effective design solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in architecture, construction, real estate or property management.
• Membership or registration with professional bodies such as ARCON is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of building construction processes and Nigerian building regulations.
