Accountant – Shared Services

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Accountant to join our Global Finance Shared Services team. You will support bookkeeping, financial reporting, month‑end close and reconciliations for multiple international entities.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update the general ledger for all entities.
• Record journal entries and ensure correct transaction classification.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations across all accounts.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Support monthly, quarterly and year‑end closing activities.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
• Provide documentation for internal and external audits.
• Ensure accuracy, consistency and integrity of financial data across systems.
• Maintain supporting schedules and audit‑ready documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• ICAN / ACCA qualification (part‑qualified or qualified preferred).
• 3‑6 years of accounting experience, preferably in multi‑entity or shared‑services environments.
• Strong understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
• High attention to detail and numerical accuracy.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero or Sage.
