Website Developer (Part‑time)

About the role

We are seeking a part‑time Website Developer to design, build and maintain our educational platforms. The role involves creating custom WordPress solutions, ensuring SEO optimisation and integrating payment systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain and enhance web systems using approved technologies and coding standards.
• Collaborate with internal teams on UX/UI, brainstorming and problem‑solving.
• Ensure new sites are SEO‑optimised at launch and perform quarterly updates.
• Manage multiple WordPress sites, including core, theme and plugin updates, email configuration and hosting issues.
• Implement payment processing (PayPal, Stripe) and set up tracking via Google Tag Manager and GA4.

Required profile

• Motivated critical thinker with a strong appetite for continuous learning.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional web development experience.

Required skills

• WordPress custom theme and plugin development.
• JavaScript, HTML, CSS, PHP, jQuery, JSON.
• MySQL and API integration.
• Payment platforms such as PayPal and Stripe.
• Google Tag Manager, GA4 event tracking and SEO.
• Familiarity with Expression Engine and other CMS platforms.
