Wealth Manager (Sales) - Microfinance

About the role

Alert Microfinance Bank is looking for a full-time, on-site Wealth Manager (sales) based in Lagos. The role is responsible for acquiring, managing and growing a portfolio of clients, mainly micro-entrepreneurs and small business owners, by identifying prospects, presenting suitable financial and investment products and giving advisory support aligned with their business and personal financial goals.

Key responsibilities

• Identify prospective clients and present suitable financial and investment products
• Conduct regular client meetings, follow up on leads and prepare proposals
• Provide advisory support that matches clients' business and personal financial goals
• Collaborate with internal teams to structure solutions and monitor client accounts and performance
• Maintain accurate records in line with regulatory and internal compliance standards
• Meet sales and revenue targets while delivering high-quality customer service and relationship management

Required profile

• Strong sales, business development and client relationship management skills, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
• Knowledge of microfinance, banking products and basic investment and wealth management concepts relevant to small businesses and individuals
• Prior experience in financial services, microfinance or retail banking is highly beneficial
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business or a related field preferred; relevant professional certifications are an advantage
• Ability to work on-site in Lagos, manage time effectively, handle multiple client engagements and work in a team-focused environment

• Solid analytical, numeracy and problem-solving skills to assess client needs and recommend appropriate solutions
