Waiter/Waitress – Full-time Hospitality Role

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and professional Waiter/Waitress to join our team at Mamatcha in Lagos, Marina. This full‑time position involves delivering excellent food and beverage service in a fast‑paced hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and attend to their needs with a professional attitude.
• Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system.
• Serve orders efficiently, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Recommend menu items and upsell where appropriate.
• Handle customer complaints courteously and escalate when necessary.
• Maintain clean and organized tables and service areas.
• Process bills and confirm payments before guests leave.
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams for smooth service.
• Uphold hygiene, grooming and appearance standards.

Required profile

• Minimum OND (Ordinary National Diploma) qualification.
• At least 1 year of experience as a waiter/waitress or in a similar hospitality/customer‑service role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
• Reliability, punctuality and a well‑presented appearance.
• Proximity to Lekki Phase 1 is an advantage.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of POS systems.
