Travel Marketing Executive

About the role

JV Management Consulting Limited is hiring a Marketer in Lagos, Marina, within the tourism and travel industry. The role covers promotion of travel packages, tour and flight bookings, hotel reservations and visa assistance, lead generation and sales, corporate partnerships, market research and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Promote travel packages, holiday tours, flights, hotels and visa services, and develop strategies to raise brand awareness and attract new customers.
• Reach individuals, families, corporates, schools and religious groups through suitable channels and take part in campaigns, networking events and exhibitions.
• Generate leads by direct marketing, referrals, networking and online channels, convert them into bookings and follow up on enquiries.
• Maintain an organised database of prospects and existing customers and work toward monthly sales targets.
• Build relationships with new and existing customers, understand their needs and budgets, and handle complaints professionally.
• Identify corporate clients needing business travel or group tours, arrange meetings and support strategic partnerships.
• Research travel trends and competitor packages, monitor pricing and report findings to management.
• Prepare weekly and monthly marketing reports tracking leads, follow-ups, bookings and revenue, and recommend improvements.

Required profile

• HND or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Mass Communication or a related field; relevant experience may be considered.
• Previous experience in sales, marketing, customer acquisition or business development is an advantage.
• Knowledge of the travel and tourism industry is an added advantage.

Required skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication, persuasion, negotiation, presentation and relationship-building skills.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, email and digital communication tools.
• Strong organisation, time management and problem-solving skills.
