About the role
The Transport and Clearing Agent Sourcing Officer will be responsible for identifying and engaging reliable transport companies, truck owners, logistics providers, and clearing agents to support Dynafleet's operational needs in Lagos.
Key responsibilities
- Source and identify reliable transport companies, truck owners, logistics providers, and clearing agents.
- Contact and liaise with these partners to obtain quotations for specific jobs, shipments, and services.
- Monitor transportation and clearing rates and identify opportunities to reduce operational costs.
- Escalate any changes in quotation, unexpected charges, delays, or service issues to management promptly.
Required profile
- BSc in any related field.
- Experience in shipping and logistics, including seaport operations such as ENL, EKO SUPPORT, NIGER DOCK, etc.
- Responsible, trustworthy, and good communication skills.
