About the role

Medessy Enterprises Limited is seeking a reliable Trailer Driver to transport finished goods and raw materials for its clients across Nigeria. The role involves daily vehicle inspections, route planning, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Transport finished goods and raw materials for clients.
• Conduct daily inspections of the truck to ensure optimal condition and safety.
• Report any defects, accidents, or violations promptly.
• Maintain up‑to‑date truck registration documents.
• Plan optimal routes to meet delivery schedules.
• Drive safely, adhering to all traffic rules and company policies.
• Keep the truck clean and present a professional appearance.
• Ensure a motor boy assistant is present at all times while on duty.

Required profile

• Team player with strong communication abilities.
• Adaptable, eager to learn new operating methods.
• Honest, with high integrity and commercial awareness.
• Minimum Senior School Certificate; age above 30 years.
• Valid Commercial Driver’s License – preferably Category G.
• At least 3 years of professional truck/trailer driving experience with a clean record.
• Dependable, hardworking, courteous, and effective communicator.
• Available to work weekends, extended hours, and holidays as needed.
