Technical Sales Engineer / Specialist (Gas & CNG Equipment)

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Technical Sales Engineer / Specialist to expand our Gas & CNG Equipment business in Nigeria. The role combines engineering expertise with commercial acumen to promote, market and sell gas‑related equipment, retail solutions and generators across Abuja and Port Harcourt.

Key responsibilities

• Drive the full sales cycle for gas and CNG equipment, from prospecting to contract signing.
• Provide technical advice on gas retailing equipment, gas‑powered generators and CNG infrastructure.
• Build and maintain relationships with industrial clients, utility operators and commercial partners.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals, respond to RFPs/tenders and negotiate contracts.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and regulatory changes to identify new opportunities.
• Coordinate with engineering, logistics and after‑sales teams to ensure seamless delivery and installation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical Engineering or Business Administration.
• 6‑8 years of technical sales or business development experience in the gas industry.
• Deep familiarity with the Nigerian gas ecosystem, including retailing, generators and downstream infrastructure.

Required skills

• Strong technical understanding of CNG systems.
• Knowledge of gas distribution networks.
• Experience with gas generation equipment.
