Relationship Officer – Sales (Enugu, Onitsha, Delta)

About the role

FairMoney is seeking a motivated Relationship Officer to drive merchant acquisition and revenue growth across Enugu, Onitsha and Delta. You will work closely with internal teams to ensure a seamless experience for merchants and agents.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to acquire new merchants and meet revenue targets.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, conducting market research and trend analysis.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with merchants, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty.
• Prepare and deliver sales presentations, negotiate contracts and terms.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Product and Operations to deliver a smooth customer journey.
• Monitor sales performance, analyse data and recommend improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications or related field (preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in sales, business development or a similar role.
• Experience in transaction finance is a plus.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with CRM systems.
