Talent Management Specialist

About the role

The Talent Management Specialist will design, implement and evaluate talent initiatives that attract, retain, develop and engage a high‑performing workforce for Dangote Industries Limited. You will partner with line managers and the Group L&D team to align workforce planning, succession and learning programs with business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Support the design and execution of the talent management framework and align workforce requirements with succession needs.
• Conduct training needs assessments, collaborate on technical and leadership development programs, and evaluate training effectiveness using Kirkpatrick’s Model.
• Maintain a company‑wide competency framework, skills inventory, and updated succession plans for critical roles.
• Identify high‑potential employees, facilitate Individual Development Plans and coordinate targeted growth programs.
• Design and analyse employee engagement surveys, stay and exit interviews, and develop retention strategies for key talent.
• Contribute to recruitment strategy, including job posting optimisation and talent planning.
• Produce monthly talent metrics dashboards, use workforce analytics to predict talent risks, and present insights to senior management.

Required profile

• Ability to link talent initiatives to organisational objectives.
• Strong HR data analysis, metrics and reporting capabilities.
• Experience delivering workshops, coaching managers and employees.
• Excellent presentation, interpersonal and influencing skills.
• Detail‑oriented, able to manage multiple programmes independently.
• High degree of discretion and confidentiality.

Required skills

• Proficiency with database management tools.
• Experience using ERP systems, particularly SAP modules.
• Advanced skills in word processing and spreadsheet applications (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel).
