HR Manager

About the role

The HR Manager will lead the human resources function for Africa Delivery Technologies Limited, aligning HR strategy with business objectives and fostering a positive workplace culture.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR policies, procedures and initiatives.
• Oversee workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, employee movement and off‑boarding.
• Coordinate performance management, including KPI setting, appraisals and development plans.
• Manage employee relations, grievances, disciplinary matters and workplace investigations.
• Ensure compliance with Nigerian labour laws and statutory requirements.
• Administer attendance, leave, benefits, payroll inputs and maintain accurate HR records.
• Drive employee engagement, recognition, retention, learning and succession planning.
• Prepare and present regular HR reports on workforce metrics.

Required profile

• HND in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, Psychology or related field.
• Minimum 5 years progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Professional HR certification (CIPM, SHRM, HRCI) is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian labour laws and HR best practices.
• Experience in recruitment, performance management, employee relations and compensation.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience using HR information, attendance or payroll systems.
