Surfer Captain

About the role

The Surfer Captain will be responsible for safely navigating and operating a surfer boat during offshore missions. This position ensures the secure transport of personnel, equipment, and supplies to and from offshore sites while maintaining full command of the vessel.

Key responsibilities

• Navigate and operate the surfer boat in compliance with maritime regulations.
• Transport crew, equipment, and supplies safely between on‑shore and offshore locations.
• Maintain overall command of the vessel and oversee all onboard activities.
• Conduct routine safety inspections and verify vessel seaworthiness before each departure.
• Coordinate with offshore teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
• Enforce company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Valid Officer of the Watch (OOW) certificate.
• Minimum of 2 years experience commanding a surfer boat.
• Age not exceeding 58 years.
• Strong knowledge of marine safety and vessel operation.
• Excellent leadership and communication abilities.
• Professional track record with compliance to regulations.
