Store Officer

About the role

The Store Officer will manage inventory of raw polymers, chemicals, spare parts and finished goods in a plastic manufacturing environment, ensuring accurate tracking and timely issue to production.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, inspect and verify incoming raw material shipments against purchase orders and QA certificates.
• Issue raw materials, masterbatches and packaging supplies to production shifts using Store Issue Vouchers.
• Maintain FIFO storage, weight‑based checks and 5S standards across all store bays.
• Track and replenish spare parts and MRO items, alerting procurement before reorder points are breached.
• Record all inventory transactions in ERP (Odoo, SAP, Sage or QuickBooks) and conduct weekly cycle counts and monthly physical stock‑takes.

Required profile

• OND, HND or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering or related field.
• 2–4 years of store/warehouse experience in plastic, packaging, chemical or heavy industrial manufacturing.

Required skills

• Familiarity with raw polymer types (HDPE, PP, LLDPE) and regrind management.
• Hands‑on experience with ERP inventory modules (Odoo, SAP, Sage, QuickBooks).
• Advanced Excel reporting and data analysis.
• Operating industrial weighbridges, platform scales and performing material conversion calculations.
