State Coordinator

About the role

The State Coordinator will oversee daily HMO operations across Nasarawa State, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. This role involves managing relationships with providers, enrollees, corporate clients and government stakeholders while supporting business development initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily HMO operations, monitor state activities and submit performance reports.
• Maintain effective relationships with accredited healthcare providers, monitor service quality and address complaints.
• Manage enrollee registration, data verification, record maintenance and resolve service‑related issues.
• Facilitate claims submission, review documentation, follow up on outstanding issues and flag suspected fraud.
• Build and sustain relationships with corporate clients, government agencies and other stakeholders, supporting retention and renewal efforts.
• Identify prospective business opportunities, provide market intelligence and support enrolment drives.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual obligations and regulatory requirements, preparing regular operational reports.

Required profile

• HND in Business Administration, Health Administration, Public Administration, Social Sciences or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in HMO operations, health insurance, healthcare administration or customer relationship management.
• Experience managing healthcare providers, corporate clients or government stakeholders is an advantage.
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship‑management abilities.
• High integrity, confidentiality, accountability and professionalism.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with electronic data management systems.
