About the role
Iprymed Laboratory & Diagnostics is hiring a Medical Laboratory Technician in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. The role covers specimen collection, diagnostic testing across several disciplines, equipment maintenance, quality control and data management.
Key responsibilities
- Draw blood, collect samples, label them accurately and prepare them by centrifugation or staining
- Run tests in hematology, microbiology, clinical chemistry and immunohematology
- Calibrate, clean and troubleshoot automated analyzers and microscopes
- Follow infection control rules, wear PPE and ensure valid, reliable results
- Record test findings in the lab information system and share reports with doctors
Required profile
- Minimum qualification of HND
- 2-3 years of previous experience in a similar role
