Staff Software Engineer – AI-Native Development & Agent Orchestration

About the role

We are building an AI‑native engineering model where autonomous agents drive the entire software delivery pipeline. As a Staff Software Engineer you will sit at the intersection of product engineering, AI infrastructure, and technical leadership, delivering enterprise‑grade solutions for Fortune 100 customers.

Key responsibilities

• Architect agent‑ready systems, creating context, tooling, evaluation harnesses and guardrails for coding agents to execute full development workflows.
• Orchestrate parallel agent fleets, delegating work across multiple agents, inspecting results against enterprise quality standards, and improving capabilities when agents stumble.
• Ship production features quickly, turning customer feedback captured in the morning into live functionality by the afternoon while maintaining reliability.
• Raise the ceiling for the whole team by packaging improvements—rules, skills, context files, evaluation frameworks—so everyone benefits.
• Lead senior engineers, scope work, review architecture and pull requests, and set technical direction for AI‑native development.

Required profile

• 5+ years of full‑stack web engineering with depth on both front‑end and back‑end, and experience leading senior and mid‑level engineers.
• AI‑native operating style: building prompts, context, rules, and evaluations that let agents deliver autonomously.
• Fluency with top agentic coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, or equivalents, and a habit of evaluating alternatives weekly.
• Strong intuition about frontier models, knowing which model fits each task and balancing capability versus cost.
• Product sense and ownership: turning goals into polished solutions, treating “merged” as a midpoint, not the finish line.
• Cloud and CI/CD self‑sufficiency with solid AWS experience, able to stand up, ship, and operate a product end‑to‑end.
• Production LLM integration experience, having shipped real applications powered by LLMs.
• Hands‑on experience with Model Context Protocol (MCP).
